About Us

All Seasons Workforce Australia specialises in labour hire services, collaborating with multiple orchards to meet their seasonal workforce needs. As the 2025 almond harvest approaches, we are recruiting for various positions to support this significant agricultural event.

Job Description

We are seeking candidates for the following roles:

  • On-Farm Positions:
    • Harvest Machine Operators: Operate machinery such as shakers, sweepers, pick-up machines and bankout equipment.
    • Farm Hands: Assist with general orchard maintenance and harvesting tasks.
    • Tractor Drivers: Manage tractor operations for various farm activities.
    • Elevator Operators: Oversee the operation of equipment that transports almonds during harvest.
    • Supervisors: Lead teams to ensure efficient and safe harvest operations.
    • Quality Assurance Officers: Monitor and maintain product quality standards.
    • Poling and Sanitisation Crews: Perform tasks related to tree shaking and orchard cleanliness.
  • Stockpad (Storage) Positions:
    • Loader Operators: Handle loading equipment for almond storage.
    • Tarping Crews: Manage the covering of almond stockpiles.
    • Drier Operators: Operate drying equipment to process harvested almonds.
  • Factory Processing Positions:
    • Forklift Operators: Transport materials within processing facilities.
    • Cleaning & Processing Staff: Maintain cleanliness and assist in almond processing.
    • Sampling and Quality Assurance: Conduct sampling and quality checks during processing.
    • Machine Operators: Operate machinery involved in almond processing.

These roles are integral to the harvest process, which typically runs from February through July, involving a combination of on-farm harvesting, stockpad work and factory processing.

What the job requires

      • Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
      • Flexibility: Willingness to work variable hours, including early mornings, evenings and weekends, especially during peak harvest periods.
      • Transportation: Reliable personal transport to commute to different orchard locations.
      • Team Collaboration: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
      • Compliance: Ability to pass all drug and alcohol tests; free from asthma and dust allergies.
      • Licenses (Preferred): Possession of relevant machinery licenses (e.g., forklift, heavy rigid, front-end loader) is advantageous.

Work Hours

  • Weekly Hours: Expect to work extended hours, often exceeding 40 hours per week, during the peak harvest season.
  • Shift Structure: Rotational day/night rosters with 8-12 hour shifts; operations generally run 24/7 until the season concludes.

This is a casual employment opportunity, ideal for individuals eager to engage in Australia’s vibrant almond industry. Competitive hourly rates are offered, with higher rates available for returning and highly skilled workers.
